With the rapid development of China's urban rail transit industry, major cities in China have gradually entered the era of fully automatic driving. In order to study the general layout and process design characteristics of vehicle bases under fully automatic driving mode, this paper summarizes the effects of fully automatic driving mode on vehicles. The main influence of the general layout of the base, and taking a fully automatic vehicle base in China as an example, the characteristics of the general layout of two typical vehicle bases of forward tandem and reverse tandem were analyzed, and the effects of fully automatic driving mode on vehicles were explored. Other influences brought by the base process design provide a Photo Manipulation Services reference for the subsequent fully autonomous vehicle base design. Key words: subway; fully automatic driving; vehicle base; process design 1 Research background Fully automatic operation (FAO) is a new generation of urban rail transit system based on modern computer, communication, control and system integration technologies to automate the entire process of train operation. As of December 2018, a total of 64 subway lines around the world have adopted the system. Fully automatic operation system [1-2]. In the future, 75% of the new lines of the global urban rail transit will be fully automatic, and 40% of the existing lines will be converted into fully automatic lines [3-4]. The application of the fully automatic operation system in the vehicle base is of great significance for improving the degree of automation, operation safety and efficiency of the vehicle base. High requirements are put forward for the setting of transition sections, and the enclosure and isolation facilities for manual and automatic driving areas.
